The Wings for Life World Run is a global charity event with one of a kind format. So to anyone worried about not crossing the finish line, fear no more because in this event it is the finish line that chases you. Here’s a race everyone is sure to finish. Yes you read it right, this event is a worldwide run where everybody starts simultaneously and the finish line chases you!
Here’s the way it works: Once a year, the Wings for Life World Run happens at various areas over the globe. Everyone begins at the very same minute: 11am UTC. Be it day or night, splendid sun or pouring rain at your area – you’re running together with the world and sharing an experience like no other. Your name will also appear on a worldwide result list!
The Wings for Life World Run is ideal for everybody of all abilities and capacities. You set your own targetsand you don’t make a beeline for a far finish line, but it is the finish line that will chase you. Half an hour after the race kicks off the “Catcher Car,” the moving finish line, begins it haunt. It chases runners along the course, steadily getting quicker until every one is caught. The last man and woman to be caught are proclaimed Global Champions. (88.44km is the record until now.)
