Silvio Chiha: Asian Beach Games’ gold medal is the most important medal of my career

20 Nov. 2014- Following Silvio Chiha’s today achievement, our team had the chance to ask the Asian Slalom champion some questions about his participation and his next target.

“A great experience, My participation in the Asian Beach Games was amazing” – Silvio described his participation in the Beach Asian Games.

Chiha assured that winning this gold medal is the most important achievement of his career by saying: “Water Ski Slalom is a sport included in the Olympic games, that’s why the gold medal I earned today is the most important medal of my career but not the hardest.”

As for the level of competition, Silvio was able to dominate the qualifying day but here’s what he had to say about the final: “It was very close in the final, I was only half buoys ahead of 2nd placed Korean Beomgeum Cho. Everything was good during the qualification and the final with no major problems, I only had a bit of pain in my biceps in the final but I managed to secure the first place”.

After asking Silvio about his next target after winning the Asian Water Ski Cup and Asian Beach Games Slalom his answer was simple: “My target is to continue winning tournaments all over the world and represent Lebanon in the best way possible”.

Silvio Chiha is making all the Lebanese proud with his achievements! We will always support you Silvio and we wish you the best of luck in reaching your target of winning more tournaments in all over the world.
