Mont La Salle Tennis Tournament Results

08 May. 2017 – The annual Mont La Salle tennis tournament has been launched with the supervision of the Lebanese tennis federation. Many categories are included in this competition in order to give participants from different ages the chance to compete.

In the under 10 girls category, there were just 5 players from the 75 participating and it was Leila Bachour who finished first ahead of Marianne Berberian.

On the other hand, in the boys under 10 there was a large number of participants who were divided into 4 groups. Each player who topped his group moved forward to the semis and there, Mark Estephan defeated Mark Mehanna 2-0 (7-4 7-5) while Giorgio Bidan beat Miguel Bou Abdo 2-0 (7-3 7-0). In the final, it was Mark Estephan from ATCL who won the title by winning 2-1 (2-7 7-3 7-5) against Mont La Salle’s Giorgio Bidan.

Moving on to the next category, here are the results so far from the U14 boys as the competition is still on going there:

Finally, in the U18 boys, Pierre Dajroue defated Christopher Sayegh 2-0 (6-4 6-1), Jalal Sadek beat Anthony Elias 2-0 (6-2 6-1) while Gio Hakim won 2-0 (6-3 6-2) against Rudy Abou Ahmad.
