The Minister of Youth and Sports, General Abdel Mottaleb Hennawi, has appointed the former Lebanese basketball national team captain and former federation member, Yasser El Hajj, as his new consultant in sport matters.
Yasser, born in 1970, was one of the best Lebanese basketball players, starting his career in Riyadi, then going to Kahraba before coming back to Riyadi, and finally ending his career in Champville.
He played for the national for a total of 17 years, and was the captain in the 2001 Asian championship, in which Lebanon finished 2nd to qualify to the world cup.
