Lebanon Football National Team Flying to Bishkek
30 Sep. 2016 – Lebanon football national team will be heading to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan on Monday the the 3rd of October to play a friendly game against the hosts.
Our national team will face Kyrgyzstan in a friendly match on Thursday the 5th of October in order to prepare for the 2019 AFC Asian Cup qualifications.
Along with the administrative and technical staff, the managers as well as the following 21 players will be flying to the Asian country : Mehdi Mahmoud, Ahmad Tactouc, Ali Halal, Mahmoud Ahmad Kajak, Mo’tazz Billah Jneidy, Ali Hamam, Walid Ismail, Nour Mansour, Maher Sabra, Mohammed Zayn Tahan, Ahmad Jloul, Haitham Faour, Ghazi Hnayneh, Mohammed Haydar, Rabih Ataya, and Hilal El Helwa.
As soon as the team comes back to Beirut on Friday, they will be undergoing a training camp in Lebanon with 2 additional players to the line-up: Hasan Maatouk and Bassel Jradi.
We should note that the national team has already played 2 friendly games the past month. The first one against Jordan that ended in 1-1 draw and the second one against Afghanistan that ended in a 2-0 win for the Cedars.
