Lebanon Defeat South Africa to Close in on Rugby League World Cup Participation!

25 Oct.2015 – Lebanon are closer than ever to the 2017 Rugby League World Cup, following a 40-12 win against South Africa in the first game of the two-game series, from which the winner will go through to the WC.

A commanding performance by the Lebanese players gifted Lebanon this important win, with the team running in seven tries, three of whom to Travis Robinson while James Boustany scored 6 goals.

Elias Sukkar was elected as best player in the game. Now, the team is getting ready to play the 2nd of this series, on the 31st of October.
