Lebanese Futsal League – Round 13 Results

In what could have been a shock in the 13th round of the Lebanese futsal league, Al Mayadeen were able to get away with a hard 5-3 win against the team sitting at the bottom of the table, Al Rabih, with many star players missing the game.

Indeed, Al Mayadeen’s coach decided to rest Mahmoud Dakik and Hassan Zaytoun, while Karim Abou Zeid and Hassan Hussein were still suspended.
But, the rest he gave to his 2 key players could have been costly,with the bench players performance not up to the level, although their fighting spirit gave them the edge in the game.

With this win, Al Mayadeen remains in second place, with 1 more game than Bank of Beirut who did not play this week.

On the other hand, USJ defeated Choueifat 3-0 at home, to claim 5th place in the standings and get closer to Tripoli, although the Northern team has a postponed game.

AUST meanwhile, were able to win again, when they crushed Kalamoun at home 5-1.

As of the most exciting game in the round, it was definitely between Gunners Lebanon and Ghobeiri, with the Gunners team snatching a 5-4 crucial win.
