Lebanese Football – Glimpse on Peter Khalife, a Lebanese-Swedish Football Player & Coach
08 Mar. 2015- Peter Khalife, is a Lebanese-Swedish professional football player and coach, born on the 29th of January and currently playing for Racing club Beirut as well as coaching the academy at the club, the proDon EFS and Lebanese youth national team.
Peter was raised in Sweden and began his football career at the age of 7, winning lots of silverware and competing at the highest levels. Later on, Peter completed the “Trainer – Coach Education Program” for Ajax Amsterdam, one of the best football schools in the world, located in the Netherlands. After achieving his certificate, he moved to Lebanon determined to make a change and improve the football youth academies. With the knowledge and experience earned from the Ajax coaching certificate, he trust that he can improve and support the Lebanese young football talents to be well developed and play at a professional level.
He currently plays for the Lebanese division one club Racing and is also working on developing Racing club academy, coaching in the Adventist School Bouchrieh and other academies in Lebanon.
Khalife plays several positions on the field and is known for his stamina, fighting spirit and speed.
What makes Peter unique is his passion towards developing young talents. He helped and facilitate the visits of Lebanese Football academies to Europe. He is consistently working with the young players, applying different training techniques he learned during his many visits to Europe.
It is with no doubt that the Lebanese football community is in need of people like Peter Khalife with a vision, knowledge and determination.
