LBL Playoffs: Homenetmen vs Champville Game 3

25 Apr. 2017 – Homenetmen hosted Champville tonight trying to end the series 3-0 and book their place in the final 4.

The hosts entered the game focused and managed to end the first quarter (18-11).

It was a pure offensive game, and the Orange team widened the gap, going to the lockers with a 17 point lead.

The efforts Homenetmen players are exerting are incredible, especially Hayk who came off the bench and scored 15 points in 1 quarter only.

However, Champville stepped up in the third and reduced the gap to 10 points. But this wasn’t enough for them to win the game.

The top scorer of the game was no one other than the Tiger Fadi Khatib with 24 points 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Once again no words can describe the greatness of this man who never fails to amaze us.

Hayk finished his game with 18 points and 4 rebounds, not to forget Galloway who broke his records with 15 assists as well as Ater Majok’s huge double double with 20 points and 16 rebouds.

As for Champville, Thomas was their best scorer with 21 points coupled with 4 rebounds and 6 assists, followed by his teammate Cummings with 18 points and 3 rebounds.

Coach Joe Moujaes keeps on writing history with Homenetmen that made it for the second consecutive time to the final 4.

It’s worth mentionning that Homenetmen are the only team who ended their series with zero loss.

The Orange team will face now the winner of Mouttahed-Louaize series.

Congratulations Homenetmen who are still defending their winning streak.
