LBL Final 4: Mouttahed vs Homenetmen Game 2

08 May. 2017 – The second game of the final 4 between Mouttahed and Homenetmen was held today in Tripoli, where the hosts tried to tie the series 1-1.

Both teams entered very focused because it’s a decisive game for each.

The first quarter ended 26 all. However, Mouttahed players exerted great efforts to go to the lockers leading by 11 (48-37).


The second half kicked off, with Homenetmen trying to come from behind and closed the 11 point gap to 2 points only, but Mouttahed managed to protect their lead. (67-65).

The 4th quarter was Homenetmen’s last chance to take the lead in the series 2-0 and managed to force an overtime.

The overtime was not enough for the Orange Team to win the game, as Mouttahed’s guards brought their A game, with 30 points and 12 rebounds for Spencer, and 26 points and 8 rebounds for Curry.

As for Homenetmen, Fadi El Khatib’s 35 points 7 rebounds and 5 assists as well as Majok’s double double (15 points – 17 rebounds) couldn’t help Homenetmen secure their second win. Dewayne Jackson’s foul trouble made things hard for his team.
