Dubai International Aquatic Championships: Sara Khatib to Conquer All
Sara Khatib, a talented 15 year old IC student who is both a swimming and triathlon champion, is set to participate in the Dubai International Aquatic Championships.
This event, organized at Hamdan Sports Complex, is very important for Sara, who will be competing with about 1,000 swimmers from around the world. The importance of this championship is the fact that it qualifies to both the Summer Youth Olympic Games and the World Aquatic Championships in Kazan for seniors.
Sara arrived early to Dubai so that she can relax before the start of the championship. She has also had the chance to train there, though it was a light training, to get ready. Sara will be participating in various races for a total of 4 days. On the first day, she will participate in the 800M Freestyle Female. On the 2nd, the 200M Backstroke Female and the 50M Freestyle Female. On the 3rd, in the 400M Freestyle Female and the 50M Backstroke Female. On the 4th and last day, she will race in the 100M Freestyle Female and the 100M Backstroke Female.
Also to mention, on Day 1, there will be a morning training session and on the other days, both a morning and evening training session.
