2014 AFC Futsal Clubs Championship: Bank Of Beirut Loses to Qadsia

The 2014 AFC futsal clubs championship came to an end for Bank of Beirut, who crashed out of the first round after 3 consecutive losses.

Indeed, the Lebanese club, filled with absences, had a rough time in the competition, losing all 3 games in the groups stage. The third loss came against Al Qadsia from Kuwait, with a score of 10-7. The first 2 games were against FC Tabriz from Iran and Chonburi Bluewave  from Thailand.

The third game could have been won, but BoB, after leading 2-0, succumbed to pressure from the Kuwaitis who got back to lead the game 3-2, and later win it 10-7.

Now Bank of Beirut is going to return to Lebanon, and focus mainly on defending its Lebanese futsal league title, especially since the Lebanese army team looks very dangerous this year, having won all of its games so far.
